So, after a stretch of some severe annoyance at a job I had in a cafe, things are looking up! I've gotten a new job in walking distance, at a very large craft store. Best of all, they have a silk flowers department, which is where I'll be working. This means I actually get to use the stuff I learned in college! Squee!

This also gives me a discount on supplies I may need to start up a little business I've been considering starting; the making of cosplay accessories. You know, the fiddly pieces that take valuable time away from the making of the costume that are hard to get supplies for. Headbands with flowers, decorated gloves, that sort of thing. I just wonder how well such a business (done via internet) would do.

So, my employment is looking better, and one of my dreams is taking shape. If I work for it, I think I can make things really good for myself.
